A Little Bit About Me

From Storm to Stillness — Art That Sets You Free

I've never been someone who paints just for the sake of making something beautiful.

For me, art has always been a way of healing — a way of loosening the weight of what's been carried, finding space inside myself again, and remembering what calm feels like.

The sky, the sea, the coast… they've been my sanctuary for as long as I can remember. Light and colour have always had a way of softening the noise, of helping me reconnect to something quieter and more truthful inside.

When I was a child, I would stand at the water's edge and imagine slipping beneath the waves — far below the surface, away from chaos, wrapped in the quiet blue. That longing for freedom, peace, and release is something I've carried into adulthood, and into every single painting I create.

My art is where I process. Where I breathe. Where I return to myself.

I paint to make the invisible feel visible — the emotions we don't have words for, the moments of stillness we often overlook, the beauty that emerges even when life feels complex or overwhelming.

My paintings unfold in layers of light and colour because that's how healing has unfolded in me: slowly, softly, honestly.

Each piece is a journey from storm to stillness. A visual reminder that calm is possible. That freedom is waiting. That even in the midst of life's challenges, there is beauty to be found.

I create coastal abstracts not just to reflect the landscape around me here in Cornwall, but to offer something deeper — a space where you can pause, exhale, and reconnect to your truest self.

Those who connect with my work are often women who've walked through their own storms. Women who are no longer willing to settle for lives that feel too small, too loud, or disconnected from what truly matters.

They're seeking more than decoration for their walls. They're seeking soul companions — art that reflects their strength, their resilience, their capacity for joy and transformation.

If you've ever stood at the edge of something — grief, transition, reinvention, or simply the longing for more peace — my work is for you.

Because this is what my art does: it holds you. It reminds you. It sets you free.

My Practice

I work from my studio in Cornwall, where the shifting tides, soft coastal light, and expressive movement of the sea shape everything I create.

My process is intuitive and layered — expressive brushstrokes, luminous colour, textural depth. I paint in a way that mirrors the way we heal: not in straight lines, but in waves. Not all at once, but slowly, beautifully, truthfully.

Each piece begins with emotion or memory, then unfolds into something that feels alive — grounding and liberating at once. Art that invites you to feel, to drift, to breathe.

This Is My Why

If my artwork brings someone else even a fraction of the calm, connection, or release it brings me… then that is the most meaningful thing of all.

Thank you for being here.
